My name is Gloria
I’ve been traveling and working seasonally since 2016
The blog started naturally after spending the past year working as a freelance writer writing content for other peoples blogs. One day I had the thought, why don’t I write for my own blog?!
Gloria is born and raised in Maui, Hawaii
where her love for the outdoors began; from mountain biking in Makawao forest, to hiking down into Haleakala Crater. Gloria is a passionate horseback rider who has worked as a wrangler and trail ride guide throughout the Rocky Mountains of Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, and the Sierra Navada’s.

Photography
Gloria wakes up before the crack of dawn during cold negative temperatures when anyone else who is sane stays in bed to capture photos no one else is getting. With unique lighting, timing, and incredible landscapes. Gloria uses a Nikon Z6.
Horseback Riding
A passionate horse woman, Gloria grew up riding in her home in Hawaii where she learned the fine art of Dressage. She has a passion for training horses to find their balance, strength, and confidence with their rider. She also has worked as a Wrangler guiding thousands of horseback rides in Grand Teton National Park, Flathead Lake, and Steamboat, Colorado.
Writing
After being graced with a pandemic and knee surgery, Gloria began writing seriously in March 2020. After writing for other peoples blogs, travel sites, and equestrian pages, Gloria realized she should write for herself!
