Hahns Peak Village, a unique place that is quite literally still a ‘village’. It may look like a Colorado mining ghost town, but it is in fact still a lively town! So lively with locals who come and go; some stay all year, some stay until the snow sticks, while others arrive only for the snow stick.
No matter what time of the year, something is in the water up here for these locals. People are simply…cheery! Maybe it is the weed? Whatever it may be, this small mountain village with a question mark for the number of residents has something special going on. Everyone shares the public land like a backyard. Maybe with that huge national forest with endless trails and forest roads to explore, people have a sense of freedom.
The men are them manliest of men, but have the kindest hearts. With locals who come to the Roadhouse as regulars, one really gets to understand the area and it’s people. They are the kindest hearted people, all looking out for each other. They are hearty, healthy, beautiful, both inside and out.
